With the release of the eCADSTAR 2021 and the availability of the eCADSTAR SPICE Controller module in Autumn this year, circuit designers will have a full front-end schematic driven simulation sandbox. Andy Buja reached out to our colleague, Lance Wang, Solutions Architect for the Zuken SOZO center, to get his input. Andy and Lance explore the history of SPICE (ISPICE, HSPICE, XSPICE and NGSPICE) and where is SPICE today in the circuit simulation programming world.
Hopefully, this blog dispels the notion that PSPICE is paprika and gives you a bit more knowledge about SPICE applications and SPICE in general.
