eCADSTAR IBIS-AMI 

Traditional IBIS models describe buffer driving and receiving characteristics but cannot model advanced features to compensate for interconnect loss like pre-emphasis and equalization techniques which are common in modern Serializer/Deserializer (SERDES) channels like PCI Express.
IBIS-AMI models include the capability to model this behavior, so you can adjust various parameters to optimize I/O channels for maximum performance.
As with other kinds of simulation, IBIS-AMI models become even more valuable when you push density and speed envelopes and ultra-high-speed SERDES circuits are closely packed with other parts of your designs.
