Bristol, UK, and Munich, Germany, September 20, 2022 – eCADSTAR, Zuken’s internet-connected PCB design product for small and medium businesses, is now available in a flexible subscription licensing model (TBL) that can be conveniently purchased in Zuken’s new European Online Store. Under the label eCADSTAR 365, the subscription licensing option complements eCADSTAR’s traditional permanent licensing model, which continues to be available through Zuken’s local eCADSTAR reseller network. eCADSTAR resellers will also provide the customary, high-quality local support and assistance for eCADSTAR 365.
“We are seeing a growing trend towards time-based licensing in the market for professional engineering software and we are committed to evolving with the market”, commented Francesco De Cet, Head of European Business and Operations for Zuken. “As we go forward, we will add further products and services to our Online Store to provide customers easy access to our leading-edge technology.”
Jeroen Leinders, eCADSTAR Business Manager added: “With our online store and the eCADSTAR 365 subscription licensing model we are adding an attractive alternative to the PCB design user community, who can now decide between permanent licensing to be purchased through our established eCADSTAR reseller network and flexible time-based licensing provided through the eCADSTAR 365 web shop”
With monthly subscription rates starting at €59 per month, eCADSTAR 365 is available in 3 incremental bundles that are targeted at specific user profiles: eCADSTAR Engineer for engineers focused on schematic design and simulation, eCADSTAR GO for both schematic and PCB designers, and eCADSTAR GO Advanced for advanced PCB design needs such as automatic routing, rules by area, creepage and clearance checks and signal integrity analysis.

All bundles include full maintenance, providing the latest software versions and updates, access to a comprehensive range of online electronic component partners, as well as local support through Zuken’s eCADSTAR reseller network. For details about bundles and pricing please refer to the eCADSTAR Online Store.
Over time, the Zuken Online Store will be extended to cover additional products, such as Zuken’s E3.series electrical engineering tool suite, as well as based training offerings. To learn more about eCADSTAR, or to request an evaluation, please visit other eCADSTAR content on the site.
